 Another craft that has been handed down is the spinning of yarn from which to make woven fabics. These ladies, dressed in traditional Ukrainian attire, tend the spinning wheels today as they did generations ago. |
 The basket maker skills are still alive in Ukraine. Each year Ternopil holds a festival honoring crafts and artists. Ancient skills and art forms are demonstrated and taught to those willing to learn. |
